In other words, even if you are not active in the insurance business, you can keep your license active by getting your CE done. That way, should your economic/work circumstances change and you decide to get appointed again, you would not have to retake the license examination. Agents with one license need 16 credit hours. Agents with two licenses need 24 hours with at least 8 under each license type. Any extra credits filed during this biennium carry over to the next CE deadline. At least two of the total required hours must provide Laws credits. Financial Academy courses may have Laws credits included in each 4 or 8-hour course. Laws credits are "wild-card" and can be used to meet any requirements for any license type. At least 25% of your credits must come from "outside" non-insurer, non-agency sponsored courses. ALL Financial Academy credits are guaranteed non-company/non-agency, so our credits are the kind you need to avoid the 75/25 problem.
